Every school has its own chapter of a parent-teacher organization; affiliated with the PTA Council of Baltimore County and the National PTA. These organizations are designed to speak on behalf of children and their needs, assist parents in developing effective child-rearing skills, and encourage parent and public involvement in public schools.
